Terms of Service
The terms on which Ad Geek is provided.
These terms describe how Ad Geek actually works today. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer and are not legal advice.
What Ad Geek is
Ad Geek is software for planning and measuring insurance advertising on Meta platforms. It connects to a Meta advertising account you already own and control, reads performance data, and reports on outcomes.
Ad Geek is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. Your use of Meta’s advertising platform remains governed by your agreement with Meta.
Your account
Accounts are created by Ad Geek. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised.
You may not share an account between people, or attempt to access another customer’s data.
Connecting a Meta account
You may connect a Meta advertising account you are authorised to access. You choose which ad accounts to share, on Facebook’s own screen, and you can revoke that access at any time from Facebook or from Ad Geek’s settings.
Ad Geek requests read-only advertising permissions. It does not request, and currently cannot exercise, permission to create or change campaigns, adjust budgets, or spend money.
Insurance advertising, compliance, and your responsibility
You are responsible for the advertising you run: its content, its targeting, the licences you hold, and the laws that apply to you. That includes Meta’s advertising policies, state insurance advertising regulations, and rules governing how you contact people who respond to your ads.
Ad Geek includes pre-flight checks that apply our own deterministic rules to campaign drafts. These are not legal, regulatory, carrier, or Meta approval. Passing them does not mean an ad complies with anything. They are a first pass intended to catch obvious problems, and they can miss things.
Any sample consent or disclosure language included in Ad Geek is exactly that — a sample. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and it is labelled as such in the product. Have your own counsel review anything you publish.
What Ad Geek does not promise
Ad Geek does not guarantee advertising results, lead volume, lead quality, cost per acquisition, or revenue. It reports on what happened; it does not predict what will happen, and it deliberately avoids forecasting figures it has no basis for.
The service is provided as-is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Your data
Your advertising data remains yours. What Ad Geek processes and how to have it deleted is described in the privacy policy.
Acceptable use
Do not use Ad Geek to advertise unlawfully, to misrepresent insurance products, to contact people who have not consented to be contacted, or to attempt to access data belonging to others.
We may suspend an account that is being used this way, or that puts an advertising account at risk.
Ending your use
You can stop using Ad Geek at any time and disconnect Meta whenever you choose. Contact us to have your account and its data deleted.
Changes
If these terms change materially, the change will be described here rather than replaced silently.
